INSTALLATION OCMOD

Attention: you need OC2 Extension Installer configured properly and working.

In the OpenCart admin backend, do the following steps:

Step 1

Go to "Extensions > Extension Installer" and upload the google-translate-vX.X.ocmod.zip

Step 2

Go to "Extensions > Extensions > Modules" menu and click on the Install button for Google Translate.

That's it!


INSTALLATION VQMOD

Step 1

Upload the folders (admin, catalog, vqmod) and files from the archive google-translate-vX.X.vqmod.zip

to your opencart main (root) directory.

Step 2

Go to "Extensions > Extensions > Modules" menu and click on the Install button for Google Translate.

MOST POPULAR ISSUES

OCMOD

1. Message 'Permission Denied' when you try open or edit an extension settings.

Answer: Go to "System > Users > User Group > Edit Administrator", check the checkbox "extension/module/google_translate"

to "Access Permission" and "Modify Permission" and click on the Save button (top right of the page).

3. Can't find 'Google Translate' extension in the list of modules "Extensions > Extensions > Modules" or field "extension/module/google_translate"

in the list of Access and Modify Permission ("System > Users > User Group > Edit Administrator").

Answer: Extension files not uploaded to the server or uploaded in the wrong folder.

4. After extension installation the changes don't display on the site

Answer: Try go to "Extensions > Modifications" menu and click on the Refresh button (top right of the page).


VQMOD

1. Error in step upload the archive via Extension Installer.

Answer: Most likely incorrectly specified FTP settings "System > Settings > Default Store > FTP Tab",

Attention! 'FTP Root' field in ftp setting it is a path from your main FTP directory to main opencart directory.
